Pregnancy - childbirth - motherhood, it's all a journey. It's got ups and downs, magic and challenges. I believe for pregnancy and labour to be enjoyable and as natural as possible we should have knowledge of ourselves and how our bodies work. We should feel safe to tune into our own wisdom, be free from the fears that surround childbirth and be confident in our own ability.
Hi I'm Abi. I've been a children's nurse for over 10 years, caring for newborns to children aged 16 and now I teach hypnobirthing. I'm based on the Wirral and a mum to two lovely boys and baby #3 is due in June.
I love what I do and I'm passionate about helping people to feel confident and excited about bringing their baby into the world so that they can enjoy this life changing experience.
I know personally how beneficial hypnobirthing is and love being able to share it's wisdom.
At home I love exploring art, philosophy and psychology. I also love to travel and surf. I have a beautiful campervan which allows us as a family to get off the beaten track and explore new places both abroad and closer to home.

Birth Education
Get to know the physical changes that occur in your body during labour. Understand the nervous system and how it affects these changes. Learn about the mind - how our conscious and subconscious relates to all of the above. Begin to understand the different stages and the birth journey as a whole.
Explore the very important role of the birth partner and the different way's in which they can support you.
Relaxation Techniques
Practice intentional breath work, visualisations, hypnosis scripts and learn about how we can build triggers to deepen your relationship with relaxation.
Practising these different aspects allows you to regularly enter into deep relaxation and better enjoy the pregnancy part of your journey. You will be able to build strong connections to relaxation with these tools and use them in labour to deepen your comfort throughout the different stages of birth.
Removal of fear &
building confidence.
Remove fear/anxiety surrounding birth through hypnosis. Hypnosis works by releasing negative beliefs about birth from the subconscious and replaces them with positive beliefs. It builds confidence and deepens relaxation and comfort.
The course content is designed to help you to understand your body and the processes of labour. You also become aware of what choices you have. By doing so you eliminate the fear of the unknown. Knowledge helps you to feel more confident. Understanding the changes that happen and knowing what you can do to help influence these changes helps build trust in yourself to birth in a way that is right for you.
